Help - Asking Price On A Property

Owners who list their property on homebidxpress.com will establish an asking price. In most cases this will be the same price it is actually listed for on any MLS or BY Owner Advertisements. The system is set up that you may change the Asking Price on your Bid Submission Form at the time of submitting your bid online if you are the first to bid. Your bid can be less than the seller's asking price advertised on our site.
Once the first bid is made then all other bids in the future will have to be no less than the stated Bid Increment. Our system is set up to actually place the automatic minimum Bid Increment into the Bid Submission Form once an initial bid has been made and another bidder decides to make a bid. Bidders may offer more than the Asking Price or may offer more than the minimum Bid Increment established by the seller.
Bid Increments that a seller currently can choose from is $500/$1,000/$1,500. Please be sure to look at this information listed on the property information page on the site.
